Shale Development Means Jobs

The anti development crowd continually shouts about jobs from shale development being a lie.

I have attached two articles about how the availability of increased supplies of domestic oil and natural gas will save a refinery complex outside of Philadelphia. The one article lists the number of possible jobs.

There will also be jobs created by the installation of pipelines to carry the oil and natural gas, such as the Mariner 2 proposed by Sunoco.

As development of domestic sources of oil and natural gas continues these types of job creating projects will increase. Not to mention reduction on foreign sources of oil.

Two good articles.  People need to know that shale developments aids not just people in the oil and gas patches where shale is found but the entire country.  Thanks for posting them.

Agreed - jobs are created, those people spend money in those local economies, schools get more tax revenue from the increase in spending / property taxes, everyone wins.  If you need more convincing, just check out the latest jobs posted daily here:  http://jobs.drillingedge.com
