Fang,
I thought I was the only one who noticed this. Anne should just look at the "hits" on GMS here and do the math. If EID wishes education, here it is widespread and centralized. The subject of landowners was discussed at this venue I see, and who better knows our plight than us all here on GMS? I bet if a delegation from GMS here were invited, us on the ground in this shale play could have wowed them with track record and astute knowledge of ground zero Utica play right here in Youngstown.
Hi Anne,
Most will acknowledge that throughout this play, with all the focus on the energy companies, landgroups, manufacturing, lawyers, Aubrey getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar, very rarely do you see the basic landowner in various geographical areas giving testimony based on their experiences. For instance, the big hurdle for leasing companies, are subdivision parcels, urban and suburban lots, or better yet, abandoned lands in East Liverpool, the City of Youngstown? These types of parcels represent a significant amount of critical acreage in the Utica play. Speaking to education, an army of dormant real estate agents can be educated to simply apply their trade to leasing residential and commercial properties, this is identical to what many already have knowledge in, it is merely the application that they must learn.
