Shell announced it is exercising its option to buy the Horse Head zinc site in Monaca Pa, the proposed site for the cracker plant.  But they said this still doesn't mean they will build the plant. I get the feeling that ten years from now, they will announce that production at the plant has exceeded design parameters but this still doesn't mean they will actually build the plant. Fifty years from now they will announce the closing of the plant but this till doesn't mean they will actually build it.

Patience is a virtue Jim! Lol.
If common sense is involved , developments thus far tell me it is a "GO". Hang in there,it's coming, even though they won't " say" it. Actions speak louder than words and Shell has been busy as a bee at the site.

Funny thing is that I just read is they (Shell) have to own the property to get the air quality permits in place. So i imagine the have to buy all the properties involved  in the permitting process. some of them across route 18 also.

"Patience: a minor for of despair, disguised as a virtue."

-Ambrose Bierce

Good one Dexter!

"Bitter Bierce" 1842-1914(?).
His final moments in Mexico must have been full of despair.

Will there be a next wave of Utica leases is the question?

Ohh, there will be a next wave, time is the question though.

Interesting the had to make the purchase before seeing what the new governor does.  I think Wolf is the key now.
