shell sells and picks up acreage

 Now that Shell's people have found a successful way to unlock the natural gas from the Utica shale in Tioga county.It will be interesting to see what they can do with the Marcellus in that county.

big question to me is, why is shell still lowballing the Utica area and paying the Marcellus acreage 5 times as much? grabbing it up cheap before it is considered proven?

another question is, since the c. gee 2h produced around 8 million a day on the last dep report, how does shell figure that the Utica is prolific enough to brag about? are those wells choked back that hard?

 WJ,Shell kept the lid on this for over a year.Just this week is the first public release from Shell about the Utica success in Tioga county.Remember the money is in the royalty's and that is just starting to flow now,there working hard installing pipes.Middlebury and Chatham is a boom area Shell is even top leaseing.
