Has anyone had dealings with this company? I have and they left a bad impression.

We signed a lease with them in April 19th, they had a 90 day window to either surrender the lease or pay the bonus. On July 23rd we sent a letter (USPS delivery confirmation) to them, as per the Order Of Payment requirement. They received the letter on July 25th. They were required to reply in 5 business days upon receipt of the letter. On August 7 we received a phone call from a landman (Justin) saying the landman we signed the lease with (Ernie) was no longer employed by Sierra and they had found a box of leases he had not turned in. Justin requested we extend the 90 days to 150 days by initaling the original lease to do so. When I asked to see a copy of what he wanted us to initialand if the 150 days commenced on the April date or the present date he replied it would be the April date. He said he would email a copy of what we were initialing that evening ( I gave him my email address). I never received an email from him. Around August 15th my husband received a call requesting my email address so a copy of the amended lease could be emailed. I was at work and my husband doesn't know my email address so that information wasn't conveyed. On August 20th I finally received the email. We're tired of being jerked around by them and don't feel like we want to waste anymore of our time with them. Our property is in Guernsey county but we live in Morrow county.
I have had nothing but positive dealings with Sierra Buckeye.
They were great to work with, surface only lease.
Karen we have a operator here working in Guernsey County that will pay you and drill , feel free to contact me at 817-521-7908
They are a encap company , and are very competitive with pricing , and works with the landowners hand in hand. The CEO was from Rex Energy they know how to drill here.
We have acquired leases this last week or so.
Do you own property here in Guernsey ?
Your are right about them a real stand up company.
Thank you for your kindness.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
