does anyone have any info on siesmic testing? i was recently contacted by Seitel for 3D testing, i had them add water and spring etc water testing before and after as my well is only 32 feet deep and has no treatment system, also rectification if damaged, any other info would be helpful,  ex: $/acre, time limits, indemnification, they have been here 3 times with addendums,  why such interest?  wet gas area?

There is a ton of info on this subject on this site. If you use the "looking for something" box right on the top(upper part) of the homepage you can read for days.
I had it done here and was paid 3 dollars an acre. It was a nonevent for us and I would do it again if asked. The workers were never in one place long enough to be annoying, everyone was respectful, we had tons of ribbons marking permission, wells and stakes with numbers on them. We were contacted in nov 11', they started the week after the Super Bowl and finished mid aug 12'. 90% of the time you never saw a worker and after it was all said and done they came and cleaned it all up. We enjoyed the helicopers that dropped big bags of the seismic readers and enjoyed asking questions whenever we did see a worker. There's the person who marks the openings that gave permission, than there's the GPS guys, than the workers who set up the seismic equipment, thumper trucks, explosive people (never saw them or noticed we went boom).
