I noticed that there is not much activity here on the western edge. I would like some input as to whether the oil companys gave up until new technology is available to squeeze the oil out in the Utica or the price has to go up. There are a lot of people out there with the knowledge of how these companies act in these cases.

Thanks Dan for posting this subject, as I have been discouraged by that Bloomberg article. Now  I have got some hope again. Jodi, I new you would come through as always with your research and we all do appreciate your hard work and dedication. The ODNR Geologist told me earlier this month that the oil window might be spotty as for now, but anticipate it to flourish in the near future.

He said it may take a few years and things will pick up. I hope so........

You're welcome Gary. Jodi always amazes me with new info. A lot of people here that contribute also. It's a constant rollercoaster with this shale biz. I've learned to take the good news with the bad. I don't always like what I hear, but, it's great to get all these varying opinions. Sorting through them is the tough part. Hang in there and I hope it all works out for you.

What about a "Steel -Aluminum Drill String Configuration".  Is that being used onshore?
