Steveson lease has been approved for four wells.  They will begin this week widening the road for the equipment trucks.  Part of the endevour removed a known active honey bee hive that has been established for several years, sadly.  Can stop progress!

This lease buys rights from previous driller Polminex, nothing given to the land owners, for Stevenson, Dick, and Snodgrass.  No other local land owners will be part of the lease or given royalties.  They will be drilling to the Point Pleasant formation (8410' deep) drw#1000-427-02-stevenson prepaired by Dieffenbauch & Hritz, LLC, Carol Phillips.

How does this work? Halcon picks the "unit boundry" for each purposed pad/well excluding those who haven't signed or they don't want to pay.  Is this right?  Shouldn't landowners within a 3000' boundry not only have their water tested (provided for by Halcon) but also be part of the lease?

If this site goes well Halcon is looking into another site located on the Fritz property, then moving south-east with a third site.  I know of several landowners already signed and paid by Halcon (via CX Energy) on Fritz road to the south towards 358.

Interesting side point, I have in writing from Halcon that they will no longer entertain or seek leases from CX Energy.  I spoke with CX Eneregy and they too have confirmed that Halcon is no longer in communication with them.  So, who does that leave for new contracts in Salem Township, Mercer county?
