EID-O's Shawn visited the Tri-Valley School District's unveiling of their new athletic facility provided in part by donations from Halliburton:

"On Friday night Tri-Valley High School held their first home game of the football season.  While this is always a large event for every high school, Halliburton helped make the event even more special.  Thanks to Halliburton and Tri-Valley’s 12th man club, the football team is now home to the Halliburton Athletic Facility and brand new bleachers for the fans to root for their home team, the Scotties.

The project that has been in place for only a few months, exceeded everyone’s expectations by being ready for the first home game of the year.  The bleachers, which now hold 600 more fans, is a testament to Tri-Valley’s and Drake Prouty’s, 12th Man Club facilities director, dedication to the project.  The bleachers were built in only 84 days and will leave the opposing fans in awe as they see some of the nicest seating arrangements for any high school football team in eastern Ohio. The Athletic facility was built in 123 days thanks to cooperation from the school district, local contractors, and Halliburton.

Earlier this year, Halliburton announced they planned to move back to Ohio to provide services for operators developing the Utica Shale.  In wanting to be a good corporate neighbor, Halliburton asked local leaders how  they could help the local community.  With their facility being built right outside of Zanesville in the Tri-Valley School District, they looked to Tri-Valley as a possible beneficiary to their philanthropic nature."
