I know someone posted how to find this (and I should have saved the instructions, DOH!). I want to find the map of the units and laterals for the Garner well pad in Union township, Carroll County.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Philip. I'd search myself but trying to shorten the URLs just gets me a "forbidden". Could I trouble you to help with the Putnam well laterals? Based on the Garner well images it looks like we have the same land in units from both well pads. I didn't know that was possible.
Thanks in advance. Mike

This is really interesting. We've been getting royalties from units associated with the Putnam well but now it looks like we aren't in any of those units. The maps for the Garner well show our property is now over there. I'm guessing this is good for us but it is a little confusing. We haven't gotten any royalties from the Garner well pad yet. Hmm...
Did CHK send you a division order?
They haven't sent it for the Garner well. They did send division orders for the Putnam units we've been in. We've been getting royalties from those units since January of last year (First check was last May). There was something a while back (I'd have to dig it out) last fall about a forced pooling notification for the Garner pad but they sent that to everyone that was in the proposed unit and it looked like it was really only one or two landowners. We are already leased to them for the Pt. Pleasant/Queenston/Utica so they had no need to force pool us. My understanding from another landowner is that they didn't start production from the Garner pad until fairly recently.
Be careful as they may have a right to come back for that money if they find out and you aren't actually in that unit. Check the clauses of your lease. It's odd that they sent you a division order for the wells if your acreage wasn't in that unit - obviously a screw up on their end.
and it is CHK, just say'n who knows what and why they do things

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
