My lease is in Buffalo Township in Washington Pa I'm not sure of the companies up there that are handling leases either. Do you know the companies that are leasing in that area? thanks
Range Resources, Rice Energy, CNX, EQT.
7200 per acre with 18.5 royalty
I'm in Buffalo Twp. Not too far from Welling (MarkWest) and Buffalo (National Fuel Gas) compressor stations.
RRC (Range) is active in Buffalo Twp.
2 pads currently producing, 1 about to start production, 2 about to be drilled and 2 more permitted. So by early 2015 probably will have at least 7 pads in production. Not sure but I think there is problem with MWE (MarkWest) getting pipelines installed/permitted fast enough !

Download the latest (Jan 14 2014) presentation and print page 14 to use as a tool for negotiations. GIP (gas in place) of 400Bcf/sq mile.
Be careful about HBP on any lease. You don't want to be in a unit with a well that only produces enough to hold your lease "forever".
Tim, thanks for the information
thanks
What does HBP mean? I'm new to all this so its very confusing to me!! I have companies calling me all the time to buy my mineral rights! I suspected something was up but had no way of knowing anything till I talked to you. Haven't been home in 32 years. But I'm originally from Washington!!
thanks
