United Steelworkers Strike Ten Oil Facilities

The United Steelworkers represent workers at 200 oil/gas facilities nationwide.   Strike is in progress at ten facilities.   The nearest one to the Marcellus/Utica area is the Marathon Refinery at Catlettsburg, Kentucky.  These ten refineries produce 10% if the nation's fuel.

I knew we wouldn't have gasoline below $2.00 for long.

This may get price of gasoline and diesel up, but I doubt it will help price of oil. If anything it will cause oil to drop. This may help Shell increase margins on those refined products from other locations. Shell may play hardball and close a few refineries.
Now why do they need a pay increase anyway. Haven't they looked at the Gov. reports. There is little to no inflation!!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha.
