I was told tonight that they have started on the well. The way I understand it is they drive a large well casing down into the ground a certain number of feet and then they will drill inside this casing. They are working on installing this outer casing now.

I was also told that the rig is coming next week.

I honestly don't know what kind of rig was supposed to come but I guess it didn't make it yet. I was told that there  was some kind of ativity  the week before last where they were installing the outer casing. I guess they drill down through this outer casing. It sounds like it won't be long now.

There are about 5 steps that involve casings before fracing will begin. The first casing is usually driven about 40 feet into the ground. the next casing is drilled through the ground water layer and cement back to ground surface before any frac water is even entered into the ground. It sounds like the contracted piledriving rig is in place now, they will be quickly followed by the vert rig

They have been bringing equipment through alliance on  st rt 183 to state street and then out to knox school road to get to Georgetown road .   As of like 8:30 this am when I drove by it looked like the platform was up and the are making a lot of progress on the rig assembly.  They had two large cranes on site.

I went by the well site tonight and the rig appears to up and is all lit up so it looks like they are rolling right along.

According to ODNR web page this well has been drilled.  Has anyone heard any results?

They just delivered 6 storage tanks to the Sanor well for oil storage ect.
