Thanks bobt for the reply and what would be good news.

How did you originally get the shut-in info, if you can say?

Do you think one source more credible than the other?

Could you please keep us posted on anything else you hear about this or anything else connected to it?

We would really appreciate your input on this and any related topic.

We must be neighbors also so it is good to meet you.

Thank you very much,

Polly Perkins

Polly the original shut info came from a worker on the well pad that was taking reading from the wells, the info i got on Thursday seems more credible as they explained that shutting in a well is more involved and is not usually done until a well is no longer producing a profitable amount of gas.

I kind of hope this true Our well is Alexander SW

Dear bobt ,

Boy, we hope that the latest info is the most accurate and true. We are on that site also and would hate to see any type of stoppage. We are located directly to the south of the pad and are painfully ignorant of what goes on there. Bobt, like I said before, please keep us posted on what you know for undying gratitude.

Polly; will do, we are the Ponderosa Gun Club. Located on Shaffers Notch Road. On Ambs Road near the Alexander homestead.

I try to get up there at least once or twice weekly and always stop at the well pad to try and find out what i can.

talk to you soon

Great to hear from you bobt. Look forward to seeing you on your next trip up. Wish we would have paid more attention to this part of the gas production instead of just cashing the checks. Take care and talk to you soon.

JBB.

I would not ignore the possibility that the wells are weak producers that benefit from periodic shut-in periods to build up pressure. After a finite period of time (hours to days), the wells are returned to production, and the extra pressure helps flush any accumulated standing fluid from the tubing. This periodic shut-in/flow process is common in many of the onshore projects that I've worked.

It is cheaper and easier to perform intermittent flow than to install surface wellhead compression systems.

All of the info presented in this discussion is solid.  $$$ will always be the bottom line when it comes to production schedules, and that's determined by all the factors mentioned previously. Royalty income fluctuates w/any well.  Consider it "frosting on the cake" when the check comes ... sometimes spread thinly and sometimes a fat dollop.

What strata has the well been producing from?

Dear Janice,

Your observation re: $$$ is on the money.Philosophy regards to royalty income is on the money too. Unknown strata where production occurs. If we learn we will advise.

Thanks for interest and comments.
