I see gas went below $4. With the mild summer it could go lower. What effect if any will it have on the operators. Will there be a stronger push for wet gas. Could this make the hard to get oil places more attractive. I assume it will have little effect on the core areas. I'm hoping for a bigger push on wet Marcellus.  I don't believe it will stay below $4 for to long as the reserves are still not high enough for winter. Plus shipping our gas to other better markets will help.

When gas price falls people who buy it pay less for it.

But that said the so called laws of supply and demand and interaction generally work as follows :

High supply low demand prices are lower.

Low supply high demand prices are higher.

High supply high demand prices are higher.
