It seems the Canadians.. need a LOT of it....
Texas "crude" seems to be 60% plus of condensate .. of production !!
and CONDENSATE is going to be allowed to sell over seas.....
so it seems Condensate is the "sleeper" oil value...

condensate could sell for $70 or $60...
So its still a good price per barrel
Permalink Reply by Dexter Green on October 18, 2014 at 6:12am It used to be called that, yes. It's just a very high gravity oil, usually 45 degrees or higher. Its best use is as a diluent for heavy crude blending.
