I heard of some of my neighbors dealing with some of these Mineral buyers and they are trying to talk us out of our future royalty payments by talking down this "boom". Saying it aint as good as it was thought to be.... Maybe they're right. Anyone have any input?

Permalink Reply by lance on March 13, 2014 at 9:48am Mr. Jones, they are slow to tell us landowners anything til they have to. It's all business for them. Hang in there and when they need you they will let you know. Or you can call and bug Chesapeake and see what they tell ya. They like 10 acres or more to deal with. If you have more than that you will probably be in a unit sooner or later. Be patient and pray.....

Permalink Reply by lance on March 13, 2014 at 11:08am Yeah, that's how it is worded but they would be loosing if they didn't pay me. If they release me I can sign with Eclipse or Antero for more than 5000 per acre now..... So my guess is they will renew.....
