Hello Belmont County.. some of you folks have ox.-eclipse leases, that, as I understand were ruled "invalid"..can you guys shed any light on this ?? I have an existing, producing vertical well, on my property,...a landman representing ox-eclipse has approached me with a lease "amendment"...any of you folks have a similar situation??? would appreciate any feedback...thanks Paul.

Permalink Reply by M on February 13, 2014 at 4:21pm its just in the ohio 7th appeals court then it will go to the ohio supreme court, its long ways off on a ruling could be 4 years for each leassors that follows, Belmont Hills Country Club vs Beck Energy.is the same suit but don't no where it is in the court or when a ruling will be on it,
Permalink Reply by M on February 13, 2014 at 4:33pm from what iv been reading they can force pool you with the lease you got, I don't no what to really say, any thing they offer see a lawyer first most them lease was 1/8 net witch is like a 6% or less gross royalty you pay for every thing out of your royalty the pipe line, dozer man truck driver his wife's teeth ect, see a lawyer , and get a gross royalty% with no deductions
