North Eastern Stark county Residents looking to work together
Hello,
I am a resident of Marlboro Twp. I am looking to either join a local landowners group or to organize one myself. I don't claim to know a large amount about this whole leasing sitiuation but I have been doing some research and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I do know that the approximately 9 acres that I own will not alone be enough to bargain with. I also realize that any legal coucil will become expensive without a group of landowners. If anybody in the local or neighboring areas is interested joining together or at least meeting to speak about the current situation, I would be interested. Owner did you receive your lease? They hand delivered mine to the house yesterday. Within the first few paragraphs I already see things I don't like.

I have been involved with the ALOV in Columbiana county and other landowners and also am in Marlboro twp and would be glad to get together with a group of landowners. The pressure from Chesapeake to sign is increasing as there are several wells drilled or soon to be drilled into the Utica here in this area.
