North Eastern Stark county Residents looking to work together

Hello,

I am a resident of Marlboro Twp.  I am looking to either join a local landowners group or to organize one myself.  I don't claim to know a large amount about this whole leasing sitiuation but I have been doing some research and I am trying to learn as much as I can.  I do know that the approximately 9 acres that I own will not alone be enough to bargain with.  I also realize that any legal coucil will become expensive without a group of landowners.  If anybody in the local or neighboring areas is interested joining together or at least meeting to speak about the current situation, I would be interested.   Please contact me on this website and we can go from there.

Owner did you receive your lease? They hand delivered mine to the house yesterday. Within the first few paragraphs I already see things I don't like.

I have been involved with the ALOV in Columbiana county and other landowners and also am in Marlboro twp and would be glad to get together with a group of landowners. The pressure from Chesapeake to sign is increasing as there are several wells drilled or soon to be drilled into the Utica here in this area.
