Aside from a few wells being developed / scheduled to be developed south of SR 6 in southernmost Ashtabula County, that would be a good take.

Seems like it's all that a landowner can do right now (unfortunately).

You can thank the Governor Kascih for helping the slow down with his recent news of fracking and his issues with it. We have been fracking more than 40 years and also injection wells in the Ashtabula area Jefferson/Pierpont.
I hear ya.
But he's not the only one we can 'thank'.
As far as governors (or any politicians) go I don't think any share sentiment with landowners over mega corporate interests.
A sad fact.
Some call it economics - I have come to call it 'Economic Manipulation'.
Just look at how the price of gasoline is so easily manipulated blaming changing seasons, or someone sneezes in a refinery somewhere, etc.
Things stink from our current perspective at this end.
It is a shame. Just when you think you have a pearl in your hand its snatched away.
Information is coming real slow and the industry itself seems to be quite in the Ohio area.
so i guess we can just wait and see......
I wouldn't say it has been snatched away.
Delayed / made not immediately available perhaps.
But don't give up - we haven't - the resources are ours to sell - keep looking for a fair deal - then make it.
Stir the pot man, shake the trees.
You (and we as well) need to benefit from it 1st - your (and our) kids will have their turn at it all later.
