Penn Energy activity in Marion and New Sewickley?

Anyone know what is going on with Penn Energy in Marion and New Sewickley Twp.? Many well pads but not much drilling. Are they wailting on pipeline or scalling back on the drilling?

I don't know much about Eastern Beaver County. I do know the early wells were capped waiting for infrastructure at the time. Hopefully someone here knows more.

I see a well going in about a mile west of State Senator Elder Vogel's farm near the turnpike. Who's is this?

Isn't it amazing that with all the property up that way, the SENATOR gets a well pad.
What are the odds? I'm sure there were no political favors mentioned and his geology is the best around...

I do believe that's Penn Energy. I drove by there this summer.

If the well is a mile West of a property, that property is very likely not going to be in that wells unit. Every well i've seen plats for don't drill East, only SSEast.

Rough guess on the distance. Looks like he does have some new pipeline just east and a cell tower just west of his barn. The trappings of power I guess. $$$$$$$$$$$$
