Have any wells been drilled yet? If so has a unit been declared?
You can find out the size and composition of a declared unit on the Beaver County web site :
https://www.searchiqs.com/pabea/Login.aspx
Enter your name and look through the results for a unit declaration.
Remember that the gas co. can change the unit size/composition at any time by re-filing.

Permalink Reply by craig on October 17, 2014 at 4:48pm What is the name of the well you might be in??? I'll check into it.
Preliminary well platts are not definitive, only what is recorded on the county site.
I have yet to see each well having its own unit in our area.

https://www.searchiqs.com/pabea/Login.aspx
login and search Berovich it was the second down for me named Berovich Bea Unit. Click view and read it. It lists all properties as well as the acreage of each property in the unit amongst other information.
Hope this helps

Permalink Reply by Mary Fedorchak on November 4, 2014 at 5:21am I think all 6 wells would be combined. There is one well drilled on the unit I'm in and my contact at Chesapeake said that although that particular leg doesn't go under someone's property, they will still get a royalty check.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
