We are now listed in 2 units , we only have 12 acres does this mean we are going to be part of 2 different well pads? Or does it mean we have been sold to the new unit ?

You can go to landex.com and purchase the latest documents that split the unit.  You will find out how many acres are in each.   We are now in 3 units, with less than a 1/4 acre being in one of them.   So  it could mean that we could be held by production for that 1/4 acre.

I have copies of the unit maps as recorded. I use those to create the Bradford Co units map. I will post the specific map on-line if you let me know which one.

Thanks one is Rabago Birk , the other is Chilson Jenings

I didn't realize that the checks come from all different places.  I guess that will happen with us also.   Also, I wonder how it changed our potential royalty amount.  We had 18 acres in 1 640 unit and now we have  1/4 acre and  17 3/4   both in under 500 acres units.    As we actually have nothing yet, this is just curiosity.  But, weren't we better off with 6 wells in a 640 acre unit than 3 wells in each of the smaller split units?

would have to see the paper work, but probably you are in 2 units and will participate, earning your % in both.  More checks, otherwise not big deal. 12 A can yield a decent monthly check, but  $5 would help, not $1.
