Not sure what is going on, but I own 20 acres located in the center of the "Baker Pool", 740 acres pooled located about 3 miles south of Portersville.  My property borders Rt. 19 and again, I am near the center of the pool.  I came to an agreement with Rex about 2 weeks ago, then I stopped hearing from them (the land agent).  They pulled the deal this past weekend off the table and told me that they are now only paying signing bonuses over a 5 year period.  UGH.   If you have any thoughts or advice, please let me know?  My direct email is norm@wimerfuneralhome.com 

My attorney is also receiving complaints in other areas that Rex is doing this.  He also said that the new terms of their addendum will say that I cannot receive both a royalty and the signing bonus at the same time, so in other words if they drill and produce in the five year window,  I will lose the bonus.  My deal really seems to have just gone sour.
