What do we know about a vertical Pugh??

Going over this XTO contract, it looks pretty darn good, for them.

I am starting to write addendums and the depth is not specified. Anyone have wording on a Vertical Pugh addendum.

I have one in my columbiana county lease. It's says the vertical can't hold more than 40 total acres.

Yes strata.

They are lowballing, and the landman said this is a Marcellus lease. With all of the other errors he made ;) when describing the lease, I figure that it should be in black and white.

Try this:  The lessee only gets to hold that strata  that is drilled to and produced from, all strata not produced from must be released back to the lessor
