Ok so here is my question, there are enough of us out here what is real on royalty amount per acre per month. From some who are receiving floats between 106 and 1000 an acre. This depends on whether they are tied into a gas line or being transported by truck.I have ran many numbers on local wells and come up with about 1200the an acre. So is this the difference of take it to market clause. Any drastic numbers would be appreciated.

The question of dollar amount per acre isn’t a black and white question, it depends on numerous factors, but with that said here is my projection.

From my personal experience with two wells in Carroll County that we will see an average per acre of $300.00 per acre over the first two year period on an average.

Both units I have been receiving checks on have pipelines connected, no idea if the wells are choked back.

Wells are on different pads in different townships.

I hope I'm wrong and we see 1k plus per acre , but I have five months and three months of checks on two wells that say different.

Also , the press releases of the 24 hour flow rate on these wells are just that a wide open 24 hour period that doesn’t mean the well can or will do that for 30 days in a row. At least my checks don’t agree with the press releases on the two wells I’m in. If you do the math on the 24 hour flow rate you get numbers that blow your mind.....you will be disappointed.

Whatever it is it's exciting.......

Good points Bryan. If I may ask how many acres do you own and at what royalty percentage? It is mind blowing figuring royalties at the 24 hour flow rates but the monthly checks will doubtfully be those amounts.

28 acres in a 184 acre unit 12.5% and 84 acres in a 169 acre unit 17.5%. Both are Gross.

Average Price of Sold Item:

Oil  90.26

Gas 1.54

NGL  1.14

Everything has imprvoed every month, but this is the average.

Bryan,

First honest-to-goodness account of Utica royalties I have seen. Be interesting to know if the experience of others mirrors yours.

Thank you,

BluFlame

Thank you for a real answer it is greatly appreciated.
Yes, thank you very much Bryan. Do you know horizontal legs are there running through each unit?

Yes, both wells have horizontal wells drilled by CHK.

Bryan,

The $300/acre is per month and not total for the 2 years, correct?

Correct

Bryan,
Has CHK added more than one horizontal to either unit?

NO, planned for 6 , but only one drilled and producing.

Bryan,

$1.14 for NGLs? What is the unit of measure?
