In Elkrun township, I just recieved a Water Supply Survey from a water testing company on behalf of Chesapeake.

It says in the upper left corner- Pad/Imp Name: CL-R11 8H.

It also lists a Subfacility Code: PS-51778-97

Does anyone know if these numbers identify the proposed well location, and how to interpret them.  Thanks.

We recieved a survey a couple of weeks ago and sent it in. There was a note in our mail box today that the same company has something for us at the post office. Can't get there till tomorrow. I am also in Elkrun Twp.

I was also contacted a couple of weeks ago by CKP about a pad going in on the Grubbs land. So I drove around and found blue and orange stakes on Miller / Davner road. Don't know if this means anything or not. I don't know anything else as CKP was suppose to contact us and never did.

Can't help you with the proposed well site but am very interested also.

Do you have a copy of the water survey you sent in?  The pad/ Imp #, and the subfacility number are in faded grey print at the top of the survey (above your name and address).

I'm now filling out our 2nd water supply survey.

My numbers are different than yours. Which section of the twp. do you live in. We live

in 6 so I'm guessing 6H is for the section of the twp.

I was guessing 8H or 6H will have to do with the number of horizontals from the proposed pad.  Althouh I do live in section 8.  I  looked at the permitted wells and the permits all go up to 10H and no higher.

I don't have an ALOV lease, but our lease indicates lessor pays for the testing.  My understanding is regardless of the lease Chesapeake pretty much offers water testing as a standard of practice to curtail liability issues.

I have no idea how far I am from the well site.  At this time I see no survey stakes around me.

DBD, We don't have a valid lease at all and the water testing survey's come. The papers

say Chesapeake on them. With the first survey the mailperson said she had delivered over 50 of them in the last few days.

I'm sorry for butting in on the discussion.

I have not received a "Water Survey". There is constrcution for a new horz well nearby and I have well water. What exactly is a water survey. How does this relate to the actual water testing procedure?

The suvey asks about your water source (well cistern etc) If you have  filter softner etc.Water source for livestock is another thing they asked. Can't remember what else.

Then asks for a time and phone number so they can contact you to make an appt. to get water samples for testing.

I've filled out 2 and no one has come out or called to actually get a sample of my water.??
