Permalink Reply by Jim Litwinowicz on June 16, 2012 at 6:35am I don't understand how "profit" has become a four letter word. How is making a profit bad if the landowner gets a better lease with better money? Look at the deal we made for Mercer Co. Even after our fees are deducted, the landowners are getting more than any other deal in the county. Higher bonus, better royalty, and a solid lease.

If your property is in Hayfield twshp. you may want to contact me we have put together quite a bit of property.there will be no charge of any sort,
just the more contiguous acres we put together the more benefits we all see from the leasing.
No need to pay a percent- er.

Permalink Reply by james on June 20, 2012 at 2:26am I have around 150 acres near Conneatville, is anyone leasing up that way? Crawford county has been dead so far, In Mercer county I have already leased some of my property to Hilcorp for $3500 an acre and 18% royalties. I hear alot of positives about the shale in Crawford county but still puzzeled why nobody has started leasing there yet?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
