Benezette Area

I put this note on earlier but repeat it here. I am a part owner of 69 acres near Benezette and we are discussing lease options including pricing and lengths. with a group called Markham and they probably monitor this web site. I'm assuming that. Can anyone provide info on what you as property owners may have or will be doing regarding leasing etc. this area?

I talked with Jim Betta and he had nothing new to add. But would appreciate any feedback from others.

I hope that you did NOT sign with this group. It is really not a lease that you will get but rather a document that will tie up your land for 10 years! Markham is part of the Snyder Bros. they do not care about you or your land. There are other really honest co out there

THERE IS SOME GOOD NEWS FOR BENEZETTE LANDOWNERS...EQT, THE SAME COMPANY WHO HIRED DAWSON SEISMIC[PLANO,TEXAS] LAST FALL TO TEST ALONG RT.555[IN BENEZETTE TWP.], IS DRILLING TWO MARCELLUS WELLS IN OUR PART OF ELK COUNTY! THE FIRST ONE WILL BE IN BROCKWAY AND THE SECOND IN NEARBY WEEDVILLE. THE SECOND PIECE OF GOOD NEWS IS THE NEW GATHERING SYSTEM. THIS PIPELINE IS BEING CONSTRUCTED BY NATIONAL FUEL[SENECA RESOURCES] AND IS 82 MILES LONG AND 24' WIDE! THE MIDPOINT OF THIS SYSTEM[82 MILES] IS IN WEEDVILLE. THESE RECENT DEVELOPMENTS,ALONG WITH THE FACT THAT MANY OF OUR PROPERTIES ARE ON TOP OF THE TRIPLE PLAY FAIRWAY[UPPER-DEVONIAN, MARCELLUS, AND UTICA SHALES]...GIVES US HOPE THAT OUR PATIENCE AND DUE-DILIGENCE WILL PAYOFF.
