Hi neighbor no what happens is one of two things Chevron will have a working interest in those wells or they will do a swap or sell it to Vantage.
I'am in the same situation here where I live Chevron holds my lease and Noble Energy has just recently gotten a permit approved to drill underneath me.
If Chevron keeps a working interest you will receive a royalty check from both companies for there percentage of the ownership etc. They will follow the terms of the lease you made with Chief.
I hope this helps you to understand a little bit better I know these companies don't want to tell the landowners any info.

so chevron will have a hand in my rights forever . ? don't seem right i never signed anything with them . just ant fair to owners of mineral  rights . rich company's do what they want to in this country .      what it  is all about anymore !  screwing working man !

lease will run out with chevron then what happens?  they didn't drill under me?

Welcome to eternity! You are married to Chevron or Vantage, with no option for divorce, unless they sell your lease. If you have been drilled on you are HBP, under your lease you signed with chief.
