Coal Rights

I own 82 acres in Millwood twp with all mineral rights including coal.  Everyone that I know in Belmont co. does not own the #8 Pittsburgh vein that Murray's machine is eating up. The maps that I have seen show the # 8 vein ending part way across Guernsey Co.  Does anyone know how far into Guernsey Murray is going?

I'm in Valley Twp.  southern Guernsey.  I found that on my deed, the coal was sold off in 57', but not the gas and oil.  I assume the coal exclusion would not harm my gas & oil leasing ability?

 

Don't know anything for certain, but I've heard the coal really peters out the further into Guernsey you go.

Dave You should be ok on the oil and gas and the coal exclusion will not hurt your oil and gas leasing ability. Michael J Belaj
