Permalink Reply by Jan on May 22, 2014 at 9:28am Well, I actually found it on ODNR's site, but had to do some real digging. It's under "unitization" and you can find the public hearing dates there.
I found out that the "unleased" is ODOT (Rt. 265) and one small landowner they haven't been able to contact.

Permalink Reply by evan on May 22, 2014 at 9:31am Jan, I have an idea but don't wanna say here. It should be interesting. I ll do some checking. About the Hayes to Pora pipeline , most of that is reclaimed strip ground anyway. Maybe this is standard practice for Eclipse. I have not seen this before . In the paper they also have a hearing on the Finneran unit which is on Oxford road just Northwest of Fritz unit

The Fox-miller well is going to be right off of Putney Ridge. About 1 mile East of Greenlawn Road there is a house on the South side of the road with a large steel pig in the yard. And an old run down barn on the other side of the road. The well location is supposed to be right in the middle of the field just past that house and on the North side of the road. There is nothing there yet, I was just out by there today. I think the permit was submitted to the county engineer on 5/9 but not approved yet.

Permalink Reply by evan on May 22, 2014 at 12:05pm Ok thanks Tom. I know exactly where you mean. I always thought that would be a good place for a house, guess it's a good place for a rig

Permalink Reply by David Cain on June 1, 2014 at 1:52pm I saw the county engineer's report for this well and I am wondering if it is going to be a vertical just to get the fox/miller/gaut properties HBP. It listed the formation as Rhinestreet/Marcellus and the well was named 1 (not 1H). I hope I'm wrong but to me it looks like Eclipse may be using their old tactic again. Or perhaps additional information will be added to the county engineer's report that will denote this is a horizontal well. Let's hope for the latter.

Permalink Reply by Jan on June 27, 2014 at 3:39am We took a ride yesterday. The rig is back up at the Pora Unit and also a rig is back on the Hayes unit. You can see activity on the pad for the Miller unit.
We heard that they are planning to begin the pad at Christman's in August.

| AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] | Links |
