Has anyone else had this happen? The title to my property had no deficits (according to the Cambridge Office). I called Amegy bank today to see when the check would be sent and I was told that it was “cancelled per land department directive”.

I called Shell in Cambridge and they have no idea what is going on. Any thoughts?

Thanks .

I received a call from another person at Holland out of Texas today he told me that my stuff was handed to him personally today to handle and that they have to research the title and it would be another couple weeks! I told him that was funny because back in March I got a call saying I was marked good to pay it was whenever shell got to it they had no idea. So basically the call did no good because just more lies being told

Has anyone had their land outright rejected by SWEPI/Shell? I was told today that being in the original group didn't guarantee payment (or acceptance). So have a bunch of us really sat around with our land tied up and thinking we would be paid for more than six months, perhaps losing out on other opportunities, and have no recourse against SWEPI, Holland, Mosser, or anyone else?
Oops, just got the lease back and a letter saying our land was outside Shell's area of interest...
Are you serious!?! You were part of Matt Crislip group? If that is the case this is just wrong it was supposed to be all or none

Your lease actually includes a clause that gives them that right to lease first and choose what they are interested in only later?

What area ?

This payment cancelled by shell  from May 22 8:20 AM started at 17,528 hits now it's 18,466 at 12:00 PM  ,a lot of Shell guys reading this

Where are you located?

There is now 28 individuals from the original group,  that have been turned away from their Shell lease. That is just the ones I know about. Various reasons given. Out of their interest range, problems with their title etc. But when asked to identify the problem your given vague definition. When asked if time will be offered to correct said problem the answer is an resounding NO. However some in the group were given the opportunity to do so and given extensions to accomplish. Cherry picked land , you betcha. Cold drafted by Shell YOU BETCHA!!!

Yes, I was in the Matt Crislip group.
