A Consol presentation shows their expectations for the sweet spot of the Utica. It looks like Millwood and Oxford towhsip are in the heart of their defined sweet spot. I don't know if this is going to prove true or not, but it sure looks good. Makes me more interested than ever to hear the results of the J Anderson wells.
In this case, "being in a pickle" could wind up being a very good thing!

I guessed that would be the case. When they came and took a water sample I figured it meant we would be pooled into a unit. So far we have a well in process behind our property and two across the interstate from us. I have been on the ODNR site and see several permits that would also be fairly close to us. Hoping we aren't in some spot that they will just be passing us on all sides. Keeping my fingers crossed! Thank you.

I am in Millwood twp. just east of Quaker City.
I was in Millwood township tonight and saw that Rex is flaring the J. Anderson wells. In Rex's conference call they had stated that they were hoping to have the wells in production in December. This is the first flare that I have seen so I don't have anything to compare it with. But I could see it clearly from Barker road. Big orange-yellow flame. And my eyes may have been playing tricks on me but I thought I saw handfuls of hundred dollar bills flying out too.
