Permalink Reply by Chris on June 27, 2013 at 7:05am I haven't heard any good offers by CHK in low volume areas for awhile. I heard an offer for $2k 17% in green twp by me a few months ago. There needs to be a big well hit before the prices go back up. I would think you could get at least $4k from that offer, if not 18% or so too
Permalink Reply by Booger on June 27, 2013 at 7:23am thanks don.......looking at documents now.......this well is very close to the boyscout well.
Permalink Reply by Booger on June 27, 2013 at 8:37am there are no DU's in the paperwork yet but looks like 6 permits.......my prop is about a mile away.
i would also think the offers would be higher this close to what is arguably the best well in the state.
Permalink Reply by ray schmidt on June 28, 2013 at 1:34am i sold my property on long road but kept mineral rights.anyway i signed in april of 2011 with chesapeake, got 17.5% and 2,250.00.at the time it was best deal going. just signed ammendment to expand unit size from 640 acres to 1280.lawyer said it was ok,because they are ready to drill and i would share in more wells.anyway is this the spendin well your talkin about? can someone post site to look for permits,d.u.? thanks. btw. signed with alov group and thought it was a good lease!
Permalink Reply by Booger on June 28, 2013 at 2:28am Ray - the permits are on the DNR oil and gas database..6 of them....the DU's are not yet posted........chances are you will be in unit if you are anywhere on long rd.
not sure, but i think they are supposed to notify you at the time they put you in a unit (with that alov lease you have).......i have the same lease on some nearby acreage with the same deal signed at a big group signing in 2011.....i will dig through it to see if that is in there.
Permalink Reply by ray schmidt on June 28, 2013 at 1:27pm your right booger.they have to notify me when im put in unit, its in contract.when they were asking for addendem i agreed but only to changing wording from 640 to 1288 acres. what they sent me the first two times had that whole paragraph reworded and i refused to sign! finally after talking to landmans boss they got it right and i signed after talking to my lawyer.i was just wondering is it called spendin unit? i thought pad was goin in across from devores place? btw.looked at dnr site and didnt see any new permits for nottingham twp. other than boyscout wells. and your right again its a gusher!!!
