Marcellus meeting at Forestry Association meeting Feb 2nd

Hi folks,

The East Central Ohio Forestry Association (ECOFA) will be hosting Dale Arnold from the Ohio Farm Bureau at our February Meeting. He will be talking about Marcellus Shale gas leases. Of course this should be of interest to those on this discussion board.

The meeting is open to the public, and will be held Wednesday, February 2nd at 7:30 pm. Our meetings are held the first wednesday of each month at the McDonald/Marlite Center in New Philadelphia. From Rt 39, turn on to McDonald Drive by the Advance Auto Parts and we are in the last building on the left.

The East Central Ohio Forestry Association was founded to provide information to its members and the general public about multiple use management of forestland. Our members are landowners who enjoy managing and working in our forests. Each month we have a speaker on a topic related to our forests. Please come check us out! Jeremy,

When you go to the ECOFA group website everything is under construction and hasn't been updated for a long time.

I started a Yahoo Group (Modern Self Sufficient Living) so we can archive the Newsletters, and be able to discuss or send notices.

It is for those interested in Tree Farming, Timber and Modern Self Sufficient Living, Crops, Animals, Mushrooms, Forest, Wildlife, Trees for, Fruit, Nuts, Firewood, Maple syrup, Ornamental, Woodcraft or anything else that involves wood.

Hi Chuck,

 

Yeah, not one has really volunteered to keep it updated and the person that used to do it got busy with other things in life and the officers also stopped asking for things to be added. It just needs someone to step up and take over.   Your website below would be a good to bring up at the next ECOFA meeting.
