Chesapeake signed my tiny acreage in 2012 (via Mason & Dixon) as part of a unit with a couple of large farms near me. I was told drilling was expected about the end of October 2012. The farm owner where the current Votaw shallow wells are located told me he was contacted and given information on how much he will be paid for the new pad area and for a little more width on the existing driveway, and was told that he gets no signon money because there is already well leases that Chesapeake purchased. He wasn't contacted at all until all of the landowners around him had signed. So far no work has been done on the pad nor the driveway. Can someone more knowledgeable about the available databases tell me if any permits have been taken? Or if anyone has heard anything at all about this site?
