this is not chk. this is the cnx pad that will begin in june. there will be another pad west of bailey.
Ron, do you know if the well west of Bailey will be North or South of Mahoning Ave?
the projected well site will be south of mahoning.
I don't know but I figure any activity at the recorders office is progress. I have not been notified yet but my lease has a limit of 160 acres per unit. I should hear from them eventually.
I just noticed something on the Green/Beaver border. There is a cornfield on the Northeast corner of Calla, and Route 46. There is a pink flag on 46, several survey stakes surrounding an existing well, and the gas line crossing Calla is marked. Sitting way back by the tree line is an articulated pan, and two bulldozers.
Maybe it's nothing, or maybe this is an area to watch for activity. I didn't see any permits, or applications yet.
Hi Calla. Sure has been quiet on the mah co site. Have you heard anything on how the rig is doing on the Hendricks pad? I see lots of flags and road markings in the vicinity of 45 and calla rd but no signs of any pipeline work. I keep hearing our area will be quiet until we get infrastructure but no signs anyone is working on it. Last week it looked like they were putting in pipe at the Clinton well behind us. Looked like 4-6" yellow pipe but I didn't see where it went from there-they were pushing it under the drive. Do you know if they normally frac those wells? There were several of the big rectangle water trailers there for about a day-lot of whining/howling noise for a few hours then everything was gone. Hope you're having a good day.
cnx is doing the pad work on the north jackson site, sure is good to see dirt being moved in mahoning county.
Hi Ron! Haven't heard from you for so long I thought you'd left. I've been watching the work on Blott rd. Big drive off Bailey through the corn field to line up with the drive on Blott. Answered my question about how they expected trucks to make the turn from Bailey to Blott. We'd heard the permit for that site had been applied for-does the work mean they got it? You're right about it being good to see something new happening Mah Co.
bailey drive should be wide enough to pull in the big rig. the permits are not yet showing on the odnr site, but i am told they do have the permits in hand. cnx land man was great to work with, and hopefully this well will start to prove up the mahoning county oil and gas.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
