Does anyone know where I can get more information about a possible processing facility in Mehoopany?  I was told that the P&G plant in Mehoopany has a well or wells on their property and they are processing it and using the gas to run their paper plant.  I was also told that this is the place to see the future of gas in Wyoming county because all of the wells will be connected to a pipeline that will take the raw gas to a processing plant in Mehoopany.  Has anyone else heard this? If this is all true it speaks loud and clear that we are just in the beginning stages in Wyoming county.

Yes, I have heard for a long time that we are in the beginning stages in wyoming county. I heard we would be seeing some real action in this county this summer and it just looks like it is concentrated in that area. Thought the pipeline would get finalized as well....nothing is happening.
It is true about Proctor and Gamble (P&G) using the gas for their plant. I have seen information on this but will have to go back and find it again.

Regarding the pipeline to a processing plant in Mehoopany, that I can't say either way. But, yes, Wyoming County is only in the beginning stages of producing gas, that is for sure. More will happen for the next 30+ years if all goes well. Be aware that it will take time, though, as infrastructure has to be built and all of the land already leased has to be dealt with, etc. It will be going on long after I am gone.
it didn't take 30 years to develop suquehanna nd bradford counties
