Does anyone know of anywhere to find a map of where wells have been built? That question came up during our dinner last night and I wasn't sure where to look. Any help is much appreciated.

If you are just looking for Wyoming County, there is not much to see yet. I believe there are less than 20 permits in Wyoming County so far.

Regardless, if you go to the PA database of all permits and wells, you can look up everything by county or town, and also map out the permits. See this homepage:

http://www.dep.state.pa.us/dep/deputate/minres/oilgas/new_forms/mar...

There is also a site called rlstore.com that you can subscribe to for a small fee and it will give up to date permits, well locations, maps, etc for all counties. It now even gives latitude and longitude of each well so you can put it into your gps and go.
Thanks very much. This is great!
rfs, I can't see where you are finding 20 permits in wyoming county???can you help me look where you are looking? thanks.
Start on this page:

http://www.ahs2.dep.state.pa.us/eFactsWeb/criteria_auth.aspx

Then only fill in three things:
Authorization Type: Drill & Operate Well Permit,
County: Wyoming,
Program: Oil & Gas
then hit search
