Baker Hughs shows as of 02/17/2012 four rigs in Marshall. Two in the SW, one in the NE and one SE.

5000 permits? 

From 10/01/2009  thru 02/06/2012 there have been 160+ permits. Most, but not all are horizontal permits.

Hi - I got the 5000 number from a post by Brian H on 2/12/2012.  He stated that in the previous 4 weeks 5000 permits had been issued with 2077 of them being the week before 2/12/2012.

Thanks for the info you provided.  I will check the map and see if any of the rigs are close to our land near Moudsville.  Thanks  -  Denver

Hi,

When you say "check the map" is this map located on line?

Do you have the site where the new permits are listed for Marshall CO.?

I am interested in Liberty District (RT. 250 the state Park area)

Any activity in Liberty District, Marshall CO. Rt. 250 south of Cameron and north of Littleton, Wetzel CO.?

I spoke to a Chesapeake rep on Monday because they have a proposed well pad this summer on land I have in Ohio.  In the discussion I asked about land I have in Marshall County (Webster District) and other in Wetzel County (along Brock Ridge).  Neither have any proposed pads nearby, BUT I was told that there is a lot of future activity planned in the Brock Ridge area so let's hope something does occur.  Hope your land is also involved.  _ Denver

Anyone know of any Utica, PP (Point Pleasant) permits?

I'm watching as these wells progress to the North East from Switzerland Twp, Monroe County, Ohio. Through Western Marshall and Eastern Ohio Counties.
