Not likely the geology looks like all the formations will be dry gas and drilling has proven that.

What is dry gas? Is it like the gas that runs into our homes for our stoves and water heaters? The lastime they drilled on our property they didn't have the same kind of drill the horiatzonal drilling, would that make a difference?  So is that land useless land then?

No the land is not useless, it is just not as valuable as this play that is all about wet gas which has many other products which can be separated from it . While dry gas is the kind of gas used in homes. Wet gas comes out of the ground under higher pressure and is a liquid. This is a very simplified explanation of the differences between the gases. You can find more details on this sight or many others on the internet.

I have not been approached for over 2 years. Mountaineer made me a renewal lease offer but I chose to be greedy and signed with Hal Whitlatch when he was at Wishgard LLC and ended up with nothing but promises and, give me 30 day requests.

Steve You know I have not been with Wishgard since March of 2013 when they went into bankruptcy and paid no one including ME!

Hal you once posted online that you had been paid.

Rob Long and I discussed this in the past and it may take a while but I can find it.

Steve, I got paid on my acreage but not on the 1000's of acres I signed up. We were completely in the dark as to Wishgard's bankruptcy , It was as much of a surprise to us as everyone else. The amount I was paid for my lease was minuscule compared to what I am still owed as well as my staff. You all are lucky to not have been recorded and then need to deal with getting released. All the info that I told people was not with me as the source but directly from Wishgard. I am now very successful at leasing and getting people paid but am forbidden to work any area where I signed up acreage for Wishgard at this time.

I responded to this comment place only to tell people what I have been told the reasons are for the lack of a leasing rush in Jackson county. There is what is called a carbonate ridge in the lower part of Wood county and all gas south of that is predicted to be  dry gas. While that is very valuable it is not the focus of this play at this time. It is just the luck of the draw whether you are in the wet gas window or not.

Due to legal proceedings I will not respond any more about Wishgard. I am truly sorry that the hundreds of people I signed up at my Southeastern Division of Wishgard, which I ran for them, did not get paid and am working to get that corrected by working with a new driller in our area. But I had "NO Control" over any of the actions or lack there of by Wishgard period!
