This AM i noticed a great deal of equipment moving around at the Shannon site on District Road. This is the site where Shell has permits to drill 6 wells. Also some new equipment moving into the Palmer well in Fairview Township. This is the site that had a small rig in there a couple of weeks ago and appeared to be drilling. The site sits back from the road far enough that it is hard to get a good look at what they are really doing there. Does anyone know if Chevron has started anything at their new site on Charleston Road in Jefferson Township? Halcon has surveyed for a new pipeline from the Pilgrim well to the east side of route 19 along Laver Road about 1/2 mile to a small pumping station along a TGT pipeline. I am wondering if they are planning other wells in that area as it is quite a distance from the Pilgrim well to the pump station.

Looks like Swepi is setting up the big rig on the Palmer pad, but like WTF said pad sits well far back off the road and behind a knoll, so it's hard to see exactly what's going on.
Nabors #M39 rig is being set up.
The rig is being dismantled and moved from the Palmer well and is being transported north on Rt. 19. To the Shannon pad now? Anybody?
What is the location of the Shannon well?
Shannon well is surrounded to north by hutcheson rd. south by district rd ,east by steckler rd and west by cannon rd.
Shannon pad is not completed yet. They just soil cemented it this past week. It should be done by the end of next week.
if you dont mind who is the dirt contractor guy?
Yesterday a small rig moved in on the Shannon site to set the 20 in. conductor pipe. They finished sometime today but the rig is still there. Don't know when they are going to start the vertical hole.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
