Based on the eFacts information through DEP, I know that Hilcorp has a few, if not more, drilling permits issued and/or pending for Jefferson and Delaware Townships.  Hilcorp has also started a well site and what appears to be a centralized impoundment site next to Flynns' Tire on Rt. 62.  I believe that this site is the James pad, although I have not double checked that.  I have also heard that Halcon is or has started a well pad in northern mercer co.  I have had a gut feeling for the last 6 months that Chevron would be moving in also.  I heard that the are interested in starting a well site in Jefferson township also.  Most of this is all heresay, so take it for what it is worth.  I would not doubt that large land swaps and deals will ensue between Hilcorp and Chevron.  They have a history of doing large land swaps from what I've read.  They did a sale/swap for drilling platforms in the Cook Inlet along the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska.  Hilcorp seems to be the wildcat for Chevron in some cases.  IMHO on all of the above.  Cheers!

Great info!
