It was found and turned into Halcon in sept or oct (Tim ???? From Halcon told us this)...he also said that they would have honored our lease had it been in on time, but, since it was late they won't! We are LIVID!
The paperwork is sitting on my kitchen table....we have everything including the copy that they sent that Said "enclosed you will find your fully executed gas lease"

Sounds to me like M&P fumbled the ball. Please see an attorney. You might have to sue all three entities and let them fight it out. Your attorney can explain best stratedgy. It looks to me like it was probably M&P that screwed up. Not returning your phone calls is simply outrageous. You know where and when you signed the paperwork and who you were dealing with. Was it a CX or M&P representative that physically received your paperwork. My advice is don't get mad, get even! I wish you success, but you do need an attorney! IMHO

I agree! Thanks!
Speaking of M&P not returning phone calls, I called them the day we received the CX email telling us that Halcon was not paying for Sandy Lake twp and Stoneboro. I spoke to a receptionist at M&P and was told that someone would call me back. Still waiting. I called several times again this past Friday and got a recording to leave a message. CX claims they don't know anything and they tell you to contact M&P who won't answer the phone or return calls. I think this has gone on long enough. They just need to admit they made a mistake and release everyone from their marketing agreement.

I too had a HUGE issue to be resolved with this whole thing and am still in the process. I tried for 2 weeks to get a hold of Jeremy Stragand, as I understand it, the junior partner in charge of the O & G Dept of M&P. He was always "unavailable and I was handed off to his "assistant" Alex. She was very polite and helpful but did not have any answers to my very pertinent questions. So.... After being treated like the Fuller Brush salesman I became very frustrated and decided to email Jeremy. Within 2 hours that same day I had a very lengthy email returned that answered all my questions(BTW I find it very interesting that Jeremy returned ALL my phone calls THE SAME DAY when I was deciding whether or not to sign up) and assured me they were working diligently to resolve the issue. What amazed me is this....if he was really too busy to take a call from his own client how in the world did he find time to type that email......it must have taken him at least 30 minutes to communicate info that would have been a 5 - 10 minute phone call??? To his credit, as I said he did answer all my questions to satisfaction but one........ "how long will this take to be resolved?".....his answer as per Halcon...... "several weeks" ....... it has been 6 weeks already ....how long before I move on? I am not sure. As for contacting M&P............... try sending an email directly to Jeremy@mopolaw.com  Good Luck to everyone involved as I still have hope that our situation will be resolved to our liking.

Could you please post a copy of that email without your personal info on it. Did everyone in Stoneboro and Sandy Lake Twp receive this email or letter?

Here's the CX email from 12-14-2012 the day that the Halcon bonus payments were due to be mailed.........per the email it applied to all members in Sandy Lake Township and Stoneboro.

We have recently received notice that Halcón Resources has identified title defects that concern a National Fuel natural gas storage field that affects all members in Sandy Lake Township and Stoneboro.  The attorneys of M&P are currently working diligently on curative measures to clear these title defects as quickly as possible.

At this time your payment is on hold pending Halcón’s review of these curative measures, if they are in fact possible. Halcón has informed us that they will consider the curative measures when determining when and whether payments will be issued.

We will be in communication with you as we learn more.

Thanks JohnL. I hope they resolve this issue for the sake of those who are dissappointed by the latest Halcon debacle.

I have cousins in west salem twp that were paid on 19/19 and 12/22

If you look up Halcon on the Mercer County Recorder of Deeds website you will see a pattern to the O/G leasea recorded so far. All of them are in the Northwest corner of Mercer County, nothing south or east of Perry township. First Halcon dropped half of the MtJackson Stoneboro group, now it appears that they are cherry picking what's left. Sandy Lake township doesn't fit into their puzzle. Still no word from CX or M&P.

Thanks for the info JohnL
