Permalink Reply by Jeremy on October 3, 2011 at 2:09am I was offered $3,000/acre and 17.5% royalty (I may be off on the royalty amount he quoted but I know the bonus was $3,000) a couple weeks ago. Personally, Wishgard is not the company for me. I agree with Marcus that Wishgard just takes a cut of what you should be receiving and I really don't feel they have pushed the numbers high enough to make it attractive to sign with them.
Hey Jeremy, Do you know if Gulfport is still using Wishgard as their contractor? I thought they put their own landman into the Play. Haven't heard any real activity from them for sometime. Any idea what terms are current with Gulfport? Thanks ,
Randy
Permalink Reply by Jeremy on October 5, 2011 at 9:36am Hello Randy,
I'm not sure if Gulfport is still active with Wishgard. I was contacted by one of Wishgard's landmen via phone and I did not ask for any additional information once he told me the signing bonus and royalty. He tried to convince me how good the lease is but I really didn't waste the time to go over it. In regards to Gulfport I have never communicated with them and I don't have any idea what there current terms are. Sorry I couldn't help. If I hear of anything I will pass it on to you.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
