Wheres the Oil Well or wells? MAPS

A member of GOM started this thread and WOW thanks BICS!

In this thread BICG has kindly made Ohio Department of Natural Resources  data base available for the members of GOM to use. You can down load the KMZ files that operate with Google Earth. The overlays presented will show you where oil wells are located their status, owner and drilling information along with wells being planned. The DATA BASE IS NOT 100% CORRECT but for the most part is fairly accurate.  The attachment is a Goggle Earth with the KMZ data BICS has at his thread. The Picture is of the Claylick area off of ST RT 668 east of Newark. In the Google Earth with the overlay you can click upon the place mark pins and it will open up a small preview if it contains a blue hyperlink upon clicking upon it will route you to the data the ODNR has. Pretty neat, yea. Now with that info you could go to the lease section and possibly find who owns the lease where the well is located.

The Mapping is BICS creation please if you have questions about it ask the questions you might have in that thread.
