Chesapeake released their quarterly financial/operational update tonight. The conference call is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9 AM ET. See their web site for the info. Here they update their Utica operations, detail their planned number of rigs, and discuss results from three wells. See the link...

Here's the financial/operating report from Gulfport Energy, which contains the results from the Wagner#1 well in Harrison County. The Wagner is a 1277 acre drilling unit and is the longest lateral drilled so far in Ohio. Looks very promising. See the link...

Here's a good article on propane pricing and how the product is marketed. Propane can make up half of the liquids in some wells, and will have an impact on your royalty if you are in the wet zone fairway. See the link...
