Hello All,
I need to apologize in advance if do do anything impolite in this method of communication. I'm new.
All said, my family has owned a very small(2.35acrs) plot in Cherry Twp. a little over a half mile from the well pad at Coveytown 5h OG Well. My wife and I remodeled the place this past winter/spring hoping to retire there someday.
I made time recently to understand a landmans lease offer. I need to have an attorney negotiate with the energy co. I have a list of addendums that I feel should be in the aggreement and some I won't back down on.
Anyway, I would really like to find if there are any others in my situation in that area that would like to "unitize" and have more bargaining power as a unit. The co.'s like dealing with 1 unit instead of 15 landowners. I understand some folks hesitation, so I'll be patient and contact as many neighbors I can. It would give me a good excuse to stop someplaces and meet the folks I've wanted to for 20 yrs. or more.....
p.s. I know not where this goes or whom may see it, but it is honest and simple....

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
